Reflections & Refractions: Magnifying the Spectrum of Carefor QTAPIs in Southern California
This community mental health survey report, researched and written by Moonbow (formerly API-Equality LA) seeks to better understand the mental health needs of queer and trans Asians and Pacific Islanders (QTAPIs) in Southern California.
The survey, initiated in 2022, reflects Moonbow’s identities and values of care, collectivity, and autonomy. The survey closed in spring 2023 after gathering 221 individual responses from community members. The Moonbow team has spent the last 2 years disaggregating data, analyzing, writing, and editing this report.
